Arrtx Coke Tin Artwork
Arrtx Coke Tin Artwork.
This is the artwork that I created with the Arrtx Alcohol Markers which I have reviewed, this was the first time that I actually created artwork, with markers, from a real life object as opposed to drawing from a reference image.
The artwork was created on Strathmore 400 Series Bristol Smooth, however, in the video review I completed of the Arrtx markers, I was also sent some Arrtx Sketch Pads, specifically for markers and really enjoyed testing and switching the markers on that paper. It is not very often that a marker company sell their own paper and it actually turns out to be quality paper, however this is the case with the Arrtx Marker Sketch Paper.
I was originally sent the Arrtx 80 set which was a mixture of colors, I was also sent a 36 set of Skin tones, which I throughly enjoyed watching out and think they are perfectly suited for Manga art. there is also a 36 set of greys and I wish I had of purchased this set for the artwork that I completed. There are greys in the 80 set, but for this particular piece I needed cool greys in order to portray the silver tin effect.
After testing and reviewing the set and enjoying the Arrtx markers so much I will definitely be purchasing the 36 Grey set. Another thing worth mentioning is that the Arrtx markers work very well with other Alcohol based markers.
