Arrtx Brush Marker Artwork | Scooby Doo
Arrtx Brush Marker Artwork | Scooby Doo
As soon as I discovered that Arrtx were sending out their new Brush Markers for me to review, I immediately started my drawing to help demonstrate and showcase the Arrtx Brush Tip Markers. My little Niece had just had her birthday and she is a huge Scooby Doo fan, so she gave me the idea to draw Scooby Doo, something that was going to demonstrate wonderful color range in both the 80 set of Arrtx Brush Markers and the 36 set of Arrtx Skin Tone Brush Markers.
Despite Arrtx providing swatch sheets to fill in with the markers, I prefer to complete my own swatches on Smooth Bristol Board paper as I feel it gives me a better representation of the colors I can expect when it comes to using the markers on an actual piece
However, when I decided to complete the artwork demonstration, I decided to use Strathmore 400 Series Mixed Media paper, this is not as smooth as the Bristol Smooth, the Mixed Media does have a little bit more tooth and texture and I tend to find this type of paper helps control the flow of ink a little better.
