Pokémon Flygon Artwork, How To Draw Pokémon Flygon Character
I completed this drawing about a month ago, my daughter asked me to draw it as her Boyfriend used to love Pokémon and his favourite character was Flygon. My eldest daughter Niamh and son Jude both loved Manga and Anime and still do, it was something that passed me by when I was a kid, however, I fell in love with the artwork in the Manga books I would buy them.
Through Niamh and Jude, I was introduced to a form of art that I absolutely loved and some of the characters and story lines were amazing. this beautiful art form from Japan quite rightly saturated the western world, opening young peoples minds to amazing fantasy, some of the most beautiful artwork you will ever see and exposure to a wonderful culture.
I completed this piece using mostly COPIC markers, but also some Ohuhu, Sketchmarker and Arrtx markers. The art work was drawn on Strathmore 400 Series Bristol Smooth paper, this is a strong paper with a beautifully smooth surface, allowing for ample blending time. For me personally the Strathmore range of paper is fantastic, the range of different grades of paper is enough to cover any artists needs. There are a lot of other excellent quality paper manufactures out there, but for me everything you will ever need is under one roof so to speak.
I have completed a short YouTube video speed drawing of this piece should you wish to watch the artwork come to life. This is not in anyway artwork to demonstrate an art product review, it was just a drawing I completed for my daughters boyfriend and I thought I would share the art and YouTube speed drawing video. I know Manga and Anime is not everyones cup of tea, but I hope viewing the images or watching the speed drawing will bring a smile and some pleasure to you.
