Iron Man

Caran d'Ache have been running a competition over the past week or so asking for artists to draw an original superhero. At first the instructions of the competition were a bit unclear, at least I picked them up wrong. The competition was to draw an original but by the time Caran d'Ache clarified this, I was half way through my Iron Man drawing. Still, I submitted the drawing and we shall wait and see. 

I chose this particular pose because I feel it is symbolic to me in a strange way, Iron Man is on his knees, getting back up and I feel that I have been on my knees after my spinal injury in the Army and art has been the thing that has helped to get me back on my feet.
