The New Castle Arts Harmonious Coloured Pencils Artwork | Eurasian Jay Bird
The artwork in this post, the Eurasian Jay Bird, was created using the brand new Castle Arts Harmonious 72 Set of Coloured Pencils, if you would like to know more about the pencils you can check out my YouTube video review or the written review. When setting out to review the Castle Arts Harmonious Coloured Pencils, I created a swatch of the pencils on some Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Velum paper, as well as testing some of the colors on black paper, which you can of course see on the review, both video and written. However, for the artwork I used the Fabriano Artistico Extra White 140lb Hot Pressed 100% Cotton paper. This is a much higher grade paper than the Bristol Velum paper used for the swatch but it goes to demonstrate how two completely different papers can produce very different results.
