This is the art work I created for my review of the Faber Castell Black Edition Colored Pencils. As soon as I started testing and playing about with the pencils, I knew the type of art I wanted to create. Given how soft the core of the Faber Castell Black Edition Colored Pencils were, I wanted to make sure I demonstrated this via the artwork.
The art work I have created to help represent and demonstrate the Faber Castell Black Edition is something very simple but I hope it has captured the essence of the pencils. Despite the actual art work being quite simple and straight forward, I think it really shows the strength of the Faber Castell Black Edition colored pencils and
I initially started the drawing on Clariefontaine Pain-On Mixed Media paper, however for reasons explained on the review, I soon changed the paper to Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Smooth, the result were instantly better.
