Digital Bug Art With Kalour Colored Pencils
The artwork on this page has been created helping to test and demonstrate the Kalour Colored Pencils recently on review. As is always the case when reviewing an art supply product, I feel it is important to create some form of art, using the product in the way it was intended so as to establish a much better understanding of said product. The artwork helps to display and demonstrate the pros and cons of the particular product on review at the time.
In an attempt to help portray as much information as possible regarding any product, I also test the product on a few different paper types. I have discovered over the years that the surface an artist uses with a particular art supply can make or break it. In this particular art piece, I have used the Kalour Colored Pencils on review on Derwent Lightfast Paper.
Ordinarily you would not really use a budget set of colored pencils on such an expensive high archival paper, that being said, there is no hard and fast rule to say you can't. However, throughout the actual review of the Kalour Colored Pencils I test them on other paper types, including black paper. To find out more you can follow the links below to the relevant reviews.
The Original artwork was creation of a wonderful digital AI artist, digiart.of.alex, I have added some links back to the original artists social media platforms and I invite you all to check out the amazing art created. I was so privileged to have permission from this artist to try and recreate one of her outstanding pieces.
