Botanical Derwent Chromaflow Colored Pencil Artwork
Recently Derwent extended the range of the Derwent Chromaflow Colored Pencils which were released about this time last year give or take. The range was extended from 24 to 72 and the artwork in this article has been created in an effort to help display the properties of the Chromaflow Colored Pencils.
I created this artwork on the Derwent Lightfast Paper and whilst I am happy enough with the actual art, I wish I had of completed the drawing on a Bristol Velum or Bristol Smooth paper. The Derwent Lightfast Paper is perhaps my favourite paper at the minute, but I feel this paper really performs for slightly harder cored pencils due to the layering abilities the paper affords.
