Arteza Woodless Watercolor Pencils Clownfish Painting
I must admit, when I first started out trying to complete some sort of art work as way of helping to demonstrate the Arteza Woodless Watercolor Pencils, I really struggled to come up with an idea, artists block I think they call it. I destroyed four A4 watercolor paintings before I finally agreed on this image.
This image was such an iconic image when the first Apple Phone hit the market, or maybe it was the second, everyone see this image either on their phones, packaging or advertising for Apple, all these years later and I still love the image and have it on my phone. As I glanced around the room trying to find inspiration, I noticed the two little Clownfish on my home screen and decided to try them.
I liked the bright vibrant colors of the Clownfish against the dark green background and the lime green anemone, I thought this image would help to display the strength of pigment in these Arteza Woodless Colored Pencils.
I completed the painting on Derwent A5 Watercolor Paper, hot pressed which gave me quite a smooth surface to work with. Toward the end of the painting I completed the details with some Arteza Expert Colored Pencils and if you read my review of the Arteza Woodless Watercolor Pencils you will discover why I did this.

I noticed a subscriber refer to themselves as a fan of mine, which is incredibly humbling, however I don’t class any of you as fans only friends, I am exactly the same as you guys, there is nothing at all special about me and when I hear the term fan, I attribute a fan as someone who admires a celebrity, super star, some one on a higher platform than the rest of us and I am definitely none of those things, just a friend to all of you. So as far as I am concerned, I don’t have any fans, only friends that I am incredibly fortunate to have in my life and I thank you all.
