A Gallo Watercolor Paintings
The artwork in this post was created using the A Gallo Watercolors which I have recently reviewed, if you would like to know more about the actual watercolors, simply click the relevant link to my YouTube video review or my written review. for this particular review I have completed two separate paintings, I wanted to make sure that I demonstrated and explored all of the gorgeous colors in the signature set.
In this piece you can see the beautiful greens and yellows available in the A Gallo signature set, I first of all completed a small study, a practice run of the lemon botanical painting, this was painted on the Baohong Artist Watercolor Paper, 100% cotton, 140lb, a beautiful paper to use.
For the larger version of this study using the A Gallo Watercolors, I used the gorgeous St Cuthberts Mill Saunders Waterford watercolour paper, a high quality paper, which is an absolute dream to paint on. As I have always said, a high quality paper can and will transform your art supplies and experience.
As you can see from this painting, whilst I was happy with the Lemons I painted using the A Gallo Watercolours, I just didn’t think that I explored enough of the gorgeous colors in the entire 24 set, so I thought I needed to create another painting.
As you can see from the painting, the gorgeous blues and aquamarines in the set are simply gorgeous, the reds, magentas, yellows and oranges as well, together make the perfect palette.
